Philip Mayers, born in Bundaberg/Australia, attended the Queensland Conservatory of Music
and continued his studies with Geoffrey Parsons, Dalton Baldwin and Philip Moll focussing
on chamber music and piano accompaniment. His work as a pianist (solo and chamber music) and
as a composer led him to Germany, France, Scandinavia, Great Britain, and the United States.
Compositions by Philip Mayers (mostly chamber music) received their premiere in Australia, Great Britain, Germany, France, and the United States. |
